Train!

Train!

I happen to really like trains. Whenever we are out and about in the countryside or a city shooting photos, it is especially nice if we are close by the railroad tracks to catch a train passing through. I not only like to photograph trains in movement, I like to feel the mighty rumble as the train speeds by.

Thank you, Bill, for your comment and stopping by. :)

Dave, I saw a black locomotive the other day. All I have ever seen here in Kansas is yellow. I haven’t a clue where the black locomotive came from. It went by too fast and I didn’t have my camera! Thanks for commenting and stopping by. :)

I grew up playing around an old railroad bridge, then worked on railroad crews during college, building and repairing track. Pictures like this one bring that old love of the power of locomotives rushing back. Thanks!

I didn’t grow up around trains. After moving to Kansas and living near the tracks, I grew a love for trains and the power of locomotives. I love photographing the trains as they rush and rumble by. :)
