I am in love with this photo! It gives you a sense of history, of life and of
loss all at the same time. Can’t you just picture the lady of the house
collecting eggs and feeding the chickens?
Hi Sandy. I had loved this whole area… the house, the land, and by a hilly road. Yes, it certainly gave me a sense of history. Yes, I could picture the lady of the house collecting eggs and feeding the chickens. Thanks for commenting and stopping by.
What I love about this is that wonderful view the lady of the house must have had, looking off over those rolling hills. I wonder if anyone in the family ever had or took the time to really appreciate how beautiful it was.
Hi Danton. Yes, indeed the view is wonderful from the house looking off over those rolling hills… and there is a pond nearby too. I don’t know if the family took time to really appreciate how beautiful it was. I posted the last of my photos from there in the post called “Praire House View”. I was quite taken with it all. Thanks for commenting and stopping by.
