Riding Out The Storm

Black heavy clouds casting strong winds and pounding rain assaulted us as we went into Petsmart to buy some Balloon Mollies for my fish tank - I really wanted those fish. Hail pounded the roof of the store as the girl fished out my Mollies and placed them into a plastic bag partially filled with water; then she pumped air into the bag and sealed it with a rubber band. After purchasing the Mollies we tried to dodge the rain drops getting back to our truck to no avail. Since I drove to Topeka, while Anna took pictures, Anna drove us back home. It was now my time to take pictures.

We take pictures from our vehicle as we travel back and forth to different destinations. We have created a new catergory called “Highway Scenes”.

Like a light at the end of the tunnel, the setting sun cast an eerie illumination directing us towards the remaining daylight.

After the sun led us safely out of the storm, the remainder of the day was revealed to us.

Before the sun completely dissappeared from the sky, it graced this photographer with a beautiful sunset.
