Tulip Festival

The long and hard Kansas winter had seeped into early spring. The tulips were late in blooming for the 2008 Tulip Festival in Wamego, Kansas.

The tulips that blossomed were a beautiful and bright sight.

    beautiful macro shot of the inside of a tulip, and I like the other one too… I didn’t know there was such a thing as a tulip festival, sounds great, I will have to check it out some year if I am up your way.

    The mix of such a stunning yellow/red - nature doesn’t hold back.

    So you finally have some bright tulips instead of gray. We’re doing winter again…snow! ???
