Day Shot~Stormy Kansas Flint Hills

Late last night and into early morning hours, a cool front started pushing through bringing high winds, lightning, and tornado threats. In southeastern Kansas, tornado sirens blared in various towns.

Abstract Flowering Crabapple Tree

I had taken a close-up of this deep pink almost red flowering tree with the deep blue skies and puffy clouds behind it. Using a photo edit imaging program, I used a distort filter which patterned the tree and background. I thought the design and colors turned out delightful.

Old Prairie Stone House

An old stone house that once overlooked the open prairie and probably was a productive farm.
