When I took this shot I knew the sun would hide behind the western hills soon.
I tried to capture the last rays of the sun reflecting on the barbwire. We were wearing jackets for the temperature was about 50 degrees and the evening breeze was chilly.

The irises in my flower garden are finally blooming. They are a beauty to behold. Iris Visions.
To note: When my mother saw these iris photos, she wrote to tell me that this kind of iris used to be called “Indian Irises.”

As I was photographing the Spider & Wildflowers, I noticed a butterfly landing on the wildflowers nearby me. It was hanging on as the gusty wind blew. I was able to capture one photo of the butterfly without too much blurring.
