Out in the country grasses and rocky outcrop, this huge puff plant grows. It looks like a dandelion puff head but it isn’t a dandelion. It has these long, tight buds around it and I don’t know if they are flowers. I searched in the Kansas wildflowers and couldn’t find it. This photo is a macro of the puff in the sunlight. I thought it was awesome. Maybe I’ll discover what this puff is later.

I love this, Anna, I feel like blowing on the screen to see what will happen. You didn’t blow on it, did you?
Great color.
What fantastic detail.
Hi Bo. No, I didn’t blow on it.
I still don’t know what kind of plant it is… Thanks!

Hi MoonDragon and welcome. Thank you very much for the infor-links, and for stopping by.
I’m an artist in southern ca.,A friend of mine suggested I go on line and check out old barns for my latest painting. I googled “old time barns” and fell into your web site. I won’t be copying it out-rite but it will be of great inspiration. Great
photography!!! Thanks a bunch and happy trails to you.
