Yesbuts asked in his comment for the photo, Tuttle Creek Dam View, what is the building in the distance. Since I know somewhat the lay of the land in that area, and I was going by the said building this morning, I decided to get a photo of it.

The building is a collection of silos or called elevators, and referred to as Farmers Cooperative Association. The Co-ops are familiar sights in the Midwest, and here in Kansas, the skyscrapers. A lot of feed and seed is bought and sold at the area Farmers Co-ops. The concrete elevators in Kansas contain about 750,00 bushel capacity—the reason I know this is because I researched for this particular Farmers Co-op. More information and history can be read at Manhattan, KS Elevator-Farmers Coop Assn. By the way, I do enjoy photographing silos and grain elevators.

Grain elevators have always fascinated me, and I much prefer them to the big city kind of skyscraper! Nice shot!

I don’t agree with montucky but that is a fine photo.
