Kansas Foggy Hills Dawn

Kansas Foggy Hills Dawn copyright by Anna Surface

I’m a sky watcher, and I have been since a wee child because of a Texas tornado. Once upon a time, I was just a swinging on a swing in the backyard when my father came to get me. He pointed to the sky. There was a white rope twisting down from turbulent clouds along side the lowering, darkening sun in the western horizon.

This morning while sipping my coffee, I watched the dawn blooming pink. Grabbing my camera, I went to my favorite spot in the country about a mile from home. Camera on tripod, I shot some photos while the fog hung low in the hills, mosquitoes whined, birds sang, and a train whistled by.
