Ok so it’s not a lake, stream, river, waterfall, nor ocean; however, it is water. Big Ben took a moment from slurping up the wet stuff long enough to get his picture taken. Sassy, the poodle mix, continued lapping as the Sugar Pup supervised the entire operation. Moppet, not seen here, was patiently waiting his turn at the dish.

Nevertheless, it is the water that sustains all life on Earth, nice photo.
Thanks Nye. Water does appear to be the common denominator between all life indeed.
Oh, I love it! I can hear the slurp slurp as clearly as I can hear the rush of a mountain stream or the waves pouring across the Grand Traverse Bay beach. It surely makes the point.
Miss Sadie and the Cowboy send their compliments. They also wonder when they might be the subjects of a photo essay from the Writing Studio and Bait Shop. We shall see.
Thank you Gerry. Ben does slurp pretty loud alright. Big Ben is actually the biggest puppy of them all, he just doesn’t know he is big.
I have seen that look a time or two from my own pooches. Great photo.
Thanks Burstmode. Big Ben really is a cool dog.
I can also hear the slurp, slurp all the way to Sweden. The water droplet hanging down from Big Ben’s nose brought a smile on my face and made me think of the labrador retriever we had in the family when I grew up. Your photo conveys a lot of the life with dogs and I like that.
That does it, I’ll have to ask Ben to pipe it down on his slurping. Nah, whenever I try to explain things to Big Ben he looks at me with those big brown eyes and gets his way anyways. I’m glad ol’ Ben made you smile. Ben doesn’t realize he is a worldwide star now.
Ah, good dogs aren’t they.
Meeting time at the water cooler!
Yep, they do this a lot. They are all very good dogs.
Oooo, look at those eyes!! Piercing, eh?
Big Ben gets away with so much because of those big ol’ eyes.
Yes Kanniduba is right. The eyes could say: “This is our water. Take care!”
-Cool!
You are probably right Carsten, territorial grounds we’re speaking about here.
