Yesterday, Preston and I went on a photo shoot looking for signs after being inspired from Staffen’s Road Signs photos post at his blog, Staffan’s English Blog. We traveled around about three different highways through three different counties through various towns that dotted the highways looking for any kind of signs that caught our fancy with a subject. The photo above is the last photograph I had taken on our photo shoot. We were behind some type of moving-farm-equipment-tractor-something going at about 10MPH. I shot photos from inside our truck. The sign that goes with this is on the right side of the photo and states: “Kansas Farm Bureau Helping Feed the World Wabaunsee County.” Throughout the day, we noticed the farmers were busy with crops in the fields, soybeans and dried corn on the stalk.
Preston and I had an enjoyable time on our sign photo trip and we have many photos to share in/of our unique perspectives. We challenge you to go out and photograph signs in your neck of the woods and share them in your style and unique perspective at your photo blogs/websites.

Do this, don’t do that, can’t you read the sign.
Interesting effort to include signs. Usually I go out of my way to avoid signs along with other hand of man and even man himself from my images.
Sounds like an interesting project. I take photos of signs a lot (hence my Sunday Signage posts). It can be fun to see what’s out there.
