I tried to make an interesting photo out of a simple grain elevator.  All the towns in Kansas have one of these along with a COOP, pronounced (KO – OP).

    Thank Montucky and Bernie for your comments. The actual shot was quite drab and I wasn’t too sure of it. When I started working with the brightness and contrast things started happening. I increased the saturation and it pleased me. For some reason this photo I really like. Maybe because I see so many boring looking grain silos; I just couldn’t stand to leave this photo untouched.

    All colors really pop here and it reminds me of an old Technicolor movie. The strange thing is that I like it and feel that it works well here. Good work!
