A building mural in Overbrook, Kansas. It takes a lot of work and time for a mural to be painted on a building. I’ve seen some very artistic building murals in my time but I hadn’t photographed them until this year.

I see something in this picture I can’t describe in words; the closest I can come to is homesickness. A feeling of being away from something endearing. A life that once was, but in this case, still is.
