Onaga, Kansas Visit

 

Upon entering Onaga, Kansas, there was plenty of farmland and the railroad tracks. Onaga was founded in 1877 by the Vermillion River and situated by the Kansas Central Railroad. Train Views

All the locomotives I have seen in Kansas so far are yellow in color. The trains stay busy coming and going.

Trains rumble and whistle thru the countryside.

As well as high up above creeks, trains travel fast across the railroad trestle. This bridge once was a stone arch. Recently, I was surprised to find it gone. [...]

Waiting on the Train

This train is actually moving dividing the town of Emporia, Kansas temporarily. If I had used a slower shutter speed I could have caught the blur of movement.
